Overview
This course is designed to provide participants with the required skill and knowledge to produce 2-D drawings using CAD software.
Prerequisites
There are no prerequisites for this unit of competency. Applicants are required to have basic computer skills and knowledge of reading plans.
Course structure
This course is delivered at PICAC and is run subject to demand based on confirmed enrolments.
Course duration
40 hours over 5 weeks.

On successful completion of this course participants will be able to:
Course recognition
This is an accredited unit of competency within the Certificate IV in Plumbing and Services and the Diploma of Fire Systems Design.
Participants successfully completing the Certificate IV in Plumbing and Services or the Diploma of Fire Systems Design will receive a Nationally Recognised Statement of Attainment.

Classroom based (face to face) learning.

Unit assessment requires participants to:
Category A: $0*
Training participant is a fully financial PPTEU member. May be registered in training course by self or employer.
Category B: $800
Training participant is a Master Plumbers, AMCA or NFIA Association member.
Category C: $980
Training participant is not a member of PPTEU, Master Plumbers, AMCA or NFIA.
