Prerequisites: Most courses have prerequisite units. You’ll need to provide evidence of these before you start. Each course page lists what’s required.
Pre-enrolment suitability: Before enrolling, you’ll complete PICAC’s Pre-Enrolment Suitability Check through VETenrol. It looks at your previous skills and experience, and the language, literacy, numeracy and digital skills the course needs. If you may need support, we’ll work with you to consider support options or reasonable adjustments.
Fees: All PICAC nationally recognised courses are offered on a fee-for-service basis. Government funding is not available for these courses. Fees are listed on each course page.
Credit Transfer and RPL: If you’ve already completed relevant units or have relevant skills and experience, you may be eligible for Credit Transfer or Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL).
The [PICAC Student Handbook] covers everything you need to know before and during your training. That includes enrolment, fees and refunds, Credit Transfer and RPL, assessment, certification, complaints and appeals, and your rights and responsibilities as a learner.
Industry training and professional development programs, such as the Heat Pump Program, are listed under [Industry Training & Development]. These programs are not nationally recognised training.
Other registered training organisations also deliver training at PICAC campuses. You’ll find them under [Training Partners / Affiliate Providers].
