Overview
This course provides participants with the skills and knowledge to identify workplace hazards, assess risk, determine unacceptable risk and prepare a course of action as required by plumbing contractors.

Prerequisites
There are no prerequisites for this unit of competency. While there are no specific entry requirements for the course, learners must complete a pre-assessment to demonstrate an appropriate level of language and literacy requirements.
Course structure
Course delivery will use a combination of face to face classroom training, flexible learning materials and self directed home based study.
Course duration
One evening per week for four (4) weeks.

Course recognition
Learners successfully completing this course will receive a Nationally Recognised Statement of Attainment.
This unit is required by the Victorian Building Authority for registered plumbers who wish to seek their licence in any stream. It is an accredited unit of competency in CPC40912 Certificate IV in Plumbing and Services.

Category A: $0*
Training participant is a fully financial PPTEU member. May be registered in training course by self or employer.
Category B: $245
Training participant is a Master Plumbers, AMCA or NFIA Association member.
Category C: $350
Training participant is not a member of PPTEU, Master Plumbers, AMCA or NFIA.
