Asbestos courses: PICAC Brunswick

This three-day program is designed to provide knowledge and practical skills for the safe removal of friable and non-friable asbestos containing material (ACM). It covers 4.3 of the WHS/OHS regulations and meets the needs of removal personnel and supervisors to competently remove both forms of ACM.

Note: This program does not result in a licence to remove asbestos or ACM. A licence to remove asbestos can only be issued by the relevant OHS/WHS Authority with jurisdiction over the workplace where the removal is to be conducted (e.g. WorkSafe Victoria).

One day program designed to provide an appropriate level of training for Class B (non-friable) asbestos removal. It will provide participants with an understanding of the nature, health hazards and regulatory requirements for identification and removal of asbestos containing material (ACM).
